Tell us about yourself:
Howdy, I'm kiaraleu! I live in a cozy little house out in the Ozarks. I have a lifelong love for animals and always enjoy learning about (and drawing) them! I went to college for wildlife biology, conservation, and restoration ecology, and currently work as a ranch hand. When I'm not tending to cows and other farm work, I love to draw, read comics, and game! My favorite color is orange, I thrive in the winter, and I'm not the best at talking but I'm always willing to lend an ear!

What is your favorite rock and plant?
My favorite rock (or gemstone) is a Tiger's Eye! And my favorite plant is a spiderplant, they're cat-safe and hardy!


What is your favorite non-gen 1 Waja?
I adore this waja, her name is Skye! She's one of my first and favorite fade pups!

What is your favorite fruit and veggie...and type of bread?
I love apples, and I looooooooove squash! Especially roasted! And for bread, it's hard to pick a favorite!

What is your favorite dino or extinct critter?
I'm a huge fanatic of extinct animals from the pleistocene epoch (ice age megafauna- mammoths and sabertooth tigers and such!) Megaloceros is a great point of interest to me, but as are any deer!

What is your favorite Wajas NPC?
I always try to save all my earthworms for Digby!

What is your favorite marking/mutation/breed?
SSE is a classic! I also love Brindle and Dun. Saber Fangs are always a must. and Affies are the cutest!

What is your favorite item(s)?
Winterglitters! No dressup is complete without some glitter and sparkles and stars sprinkled on top!

Do you have any pets? Tell us about them!
I have a rambunctious white labrador named Cookie, and a very large and loving orange cat named Biscuit! They take up 99% of my bed at night.

How did you find Wajas?
A dear old friend introduced me to the website, since we both love wolves. I'm glad I was still able to remember my login from way back when!

Introducing: Artist, Vexatta!

Tell us about yourself:
Hiii, I'm Vex (or Vexatta)! I'm someone who loves purple, games too much, reads when I can focus, and does art from time to time. I'm a socially anxious, and let's be real, generally anxious mess. I've been off and on Wajas since around 2010ish and was previously a site artist who has made her way back!

What is your favorite rock and plant?
Favorite rock is definitely amethyst, with lepidolite as a close second! Favorite plant is tulips.

What is your favorite non-gen 1 Waja?
Probably Kairi! The Feather line Wajas have always been a favorite and I was so stoked to nab this one.

What is your favorite fruit and veggie...and type of bread?
I...don't like a lot of fruits because of texture issues, but I love bananas! One I can easily eat any time. For veggies, oh man, usually depends on what else I'm eating but I do love green beans just about any time! BREAD? Honestly almost any bread, I love bread so much! A nice sourdough, those sweet hawaiian rolls, garlic bread with some pasta....now I'm hungry.

Do you have any pets? Tell us about them!
Yes! I have three cats, Taters, Edo and Bruce! Edo is our oldest, I call him my grumpy old man, Taters is the middle child and very food motivated, and Bruce is our youngest and only has one brain cell.

Bringing items/ideas to life again. It's so fun getting a spark of an idea and then seeing it on site and getting to use it in dress-ups!

Tell us about yourself:
Hello! I'm Xihro. I am a nature nut, LARPer, gaming nerd who loves to draw, read, write, and cross-stitch. I've been doing art for a good long while now, starting out in Sonic forums back in 2001. I've been on Wajas since 2006, with a few hiatuses, but I've been consistently on it for a few years now. I've always loved this community - it is one of the few safe internet places left.

What is your favorite rock and plant?
My favorite rocks are gemstones! I love shiny and rare things, so I love any gemstones. I especially love Tanzanite, Ruby, Opal, and Sapphires. My favorite plant is roses - I have a goal to eventually have a nice rose garden, once I figure out how to garden without breaking the bank and my back.

What is your favorite non-gen 1 Waja?
[waja id="9239137"] This cutie right here. She was given to me as a gift when I expressed interest in her and I really treasure her.

What is your favorite fruit and veggie...and type of bread?
I love strawberries! But most fruit is great. My favorite veggie is either fresh green beans, or broccoli! And bread? Well, a friend of mine makes the best appple-cinnamon sourdough I have ever had, it gets eaten in minutes. I wish I could have it more often.

What is your favorite dino or extinct critter?
My favorite dino is the T-Rex, it's a classic. I used to carry around a T-Rex plastic toy around as a kid EVERYWHERE.

What is your favorite Wajas NPC?
Wicke the Candlemaker in Waja Park! I love his design, and I love candle items!

What is your favorite marking/mutation/breed?
Marking: Samsara

What is your favorite item(s)?
Tattered Cloak Black is my top favorite! But also way up there in my top favorite list are any natural, foresty wallpapers, and autumn themed things.

If you design Wajas, do you enjoy working with certain mutation/marking/color combinations and if so, what are they and why?
I like designs that are a muted color palette with one brighter color that stands out, I think it makes for a very striking appearance. I tend to like designs with limited color palettes, almost monochromatic, not just aesthetically, but also because they're generally easier to draw.

Do you have any pets? Tell us about them!
I do! I have a rescue, Matilda, who I believe used to be a service dog, we are completely obsessed with each other.


I also have three cats, all picked up off the street. I love them to pieces.

Do you remember, way back when you first joined Wajas, the first Waja that really sparked your interest and that you just *had* to have?
I didn't want to OWN her, but there was one that had Belly Spots. Something about that marking enchanted me!

How did you find Wajas?
A friend of mine in class was on it, and she brought me in. We were both into pet sites and this one just had cute wolfies, perfect for my wolf-obsessed brain.

Tell us about yourself:
Hi hi friends~ I'm Lilac! I'm a university student, illustrator, gamer, programmer, and lifelong boba enthusiast. I've been wandering around Wajas since 2014, taking a few hiatuses along the way, but I'm always drawn back by the lovely community and endless magic of designing and creating ♥

What is your favorite rock and plant?
My favourite rocks would be a tie between amethyst, lavender quartz, and flower agate (or anything that is light purple, really). As for plants... well, just as my name hints, I especially adore lilacs, but all flowers have my heart!

What is your favorite non-gen 1 Waja?
My first waja, Cotton, has such a special spot in my heart ♥


What is your favorite fruit and veggie... and type of bread?
I love all fruits, particularly peaches, lychee, and passionfruit. My fave veggie is watercress, and the best bread is focaccia!

What is your favorite dino or extinct critter?
My knowledge of extinct critters is mostly gathered from the creatures I've encountered playing Ark, so my vote goes to the delightful Moschops!

What is your favorite Wajas NPC?
Florrie and I are the best of friends, especially when I spontaneously pop by her shop at 02:02, and we stare at each other wordlessly :-)

What is your favorite marking/mutation/breed?
If you've ever had a chat with me or seen my designs, you'd quickly discover that my all-time favourite marking is Tabby White. I cannot resist adding Mane on everything too, and my fave breeds are Normals and Tempests.

What is your favorite item(s)?
My favourite Wajas items are any flower/plants, Worn Photo foregrounds, and all of the shadows! Actually, all of the effects items are up there too.

If you were trapped on an island with any three things from Wajas, with no limitations, what three things would you choose and why?
Island or not, I would choose a Tabby White dye for my first thing. The second would probably be another Tabby White dye. Lastly... I'm sure you could guess.

If it counts, I made this one a while back that sums up my existence very well.


If you design Wajas, do you enjoy working with certain mutation/marking/color combinations and if so, what are they and why?
I design so many Wajas, and somehow they all have Tabby White, Detail, and Mane. Every now and then, I try to design without my beloved trio to spare others from my predictable antics, but I adore them, your honour... It's impossible for me to stay away!

Do you have any pets? Tell us about them!
Oh, I could talk for hours about my sweet cat, Tofu! He is a 2-year-old blue lynx point that I rescued last year, and he has truly captured my whole heart. Tofu is a bit shy around guests, as he fears new faces, but if you are patient and bring a tube treat offering, he blossoms into the most cuddly, affectionate kitty ever ♥

Do you remember, way back when you first joined Wajas, the first Waja that really sparked your interest and that you just *had* to have?
When I first joined, I stumbled upon this lovely low-digit lilac Corsie that, of course, was completely out of my budget. A wonderful old friend, SCITZ, surprised me with her, and I will forever be grateful to home her in my cave.


How did you find Wajas?
I can barely remember it, but I think I was looking for games similar to Pet Pet Park and Animal Jam, and somehow stumbled upon Wajas in a web search.
