Summary of Changes A more detailed breakdown of the changes is at the bottom of the News Post. We have split the marking "Dual" into four new markings: Dual Left, Dual Right, Split Lower, and Split Upper. The marking "Dual" no longer exists and has been replaced with one of the new markings listed above depending on the mutation and breed. The item "Dye Brush Dual" can no longer be used, but it can be exchanged for one of the for new dual brushes. If you try to use a Dye Brush Dual you will be redirected to the exchange page. We have added a Base mutation marking. The markings Lacing and Stripes have been renamed for the Mouth Tail mutation (consistent across all breeds). There is new art for the Stripes marking on Mouth Tail. There is new art for all the Mutation Marking Brushes. Your wajas should all look the same or close to the same (some art cleanup has occured). Marking names are the most significant thing to have changed. If you notice something that is amiss, please modbox it. Wajas Needing Fixes While your wajas should all look the same, you might notice that there might now be some issues with breeding pairs for select mutations (refer to the detailed changes section or the new fix threads) with cross-breed breeding pairs that previously had the Dual mutation marking. For example, Dual changed to Dual Right on the Egyptian Long Tail but to Dual Left on the Forest Long Tail. Now, a breeding pair of an Egyptian and Forest that had the Dual Mark on both parent's Long Tail now will breed faded pups. In order to fix your wajas, we will be offering several options which include: - Change the marking to one of the other Dual or Split Markings - Adding the opposing mark - Adding the Base mut mark - Change the color of the marking - Change the color of the base mutation - Relayer the marking - Remove the marking - Adding the Seconary mutation marking on Cloven Hooves - Adding the Unders mutation marking on Neck Ruff on Divines - Some combination of the above on both or one of the parents We will be offering to fix customs, dyed wajas, and G2+ breeding pairs/subs; however, we will focus on fixing customs and dyed wajas first. Some Important Notes for Fixes: Fixes will be offered starting December 6th. We want everyone to have a chance to look over the changes and consider what is the best path forward for their wajas. We will not make repeated changes. If your design is shared with a partner or is apart of an interbreedable/subbreed, make sure everyone is on board with the fix before posting. If you are intending to have your waja fixed, do NOT breed the waja. Pups bred prior to the changes going live will be left alone unless the owner of the pup requests a change. The pups will not need to be OWFed for your Waja to be fixed. If you breed your waja on accident, any pups bred after the changes went live will have to be OWFed before a fix can be made.
