Where does your username come from?
I took my old username, Jelly, tweaked it till it sounded right, and then added a couple repeating letters just to trip people up. or something like that.

What are you passionate about on Wajas?
Well, if you look at my user stats it will suggest I am REALLY passionate about shadow items. Always enjoyed dressing up my wajas and feel I have only gotten better over the last couple years. Slowly going through the process of retouching and updating my custom dressups.

What do you collect? (On Wajas, irl, or both!)?
I collect a few things, but my favorite thing to collect has to be glitches. Breeding script hiccups, art errors, other unexpected weird stuff I find super cool and love expanding my pack of misfits on wajas. I collect a few oddities in real life too like I have a few empty factory sealed cans, misprinted cards, ect.

Back in 2009 I ran a game called "Pull The Lever?" which functioned more or less like your typical doors game. It was a lot of fun, I enjoyed seeing people excited about it, and met my now longtime friend, Dire, in the process. The actual thread is long gone now, but I reminisce about it from time to time. Good times.

Where are you from?
Midwest US

What are your hobbies or passions outside of Wajas?
I used to draw constantly, but I fell out of love with my own work. One day I hope to rekindle that spark, but I harness my creative energy creating original characters and working on fantasy settings with my better half. I don't dare actually try and take a character head count, but the list is pretty lengthy. What is the point of building a setting you can only dream of without populating it after all?

What game(s) are you currently playing?
I am rather enjoying the D&D game that my partner is DMing for myself and a couple of friends. We have been at it for over a year now and I find myself scheming and planning for the next session when driving anywhere. If we are talking video games then I am having a fun time casually playing Paleo Pines.

What's your favorite place you've traveled to or have visited locally?
I am starved for wilderness living in a city right now but there are a couple state parks that I wish I could travel to more. There is a lovely one I have camped at a few times that I took my partner to when she moved to me, from a relatively flat state, just so she could see her first mountain. Even though it wasn't a very big one she was blown away. We could both benefit from a long overdue walk in some woods about now.

What pets do you have/what would your dream pet be?
I currently have two elderly cats who keep life interesting. Mia is a cuddly little tabby-tortie girl who wants nothing more than to be pet and hang out with me unless my partner's superior lap is available. Which is fine. Bogart (the ancient) is a handsome tuxedo boy in his 20s who is my reason for taking so long to type anything constant companion. He has his old kitty issues, but is still living the good life with plenty of love, food, sleeping places, and energy for mischief.

Cold weather or warm weather?
Warm. I am miserable in the cold.

Where does your username come from?
My username came out of my pre-teen desire to be a writer. I was in that phase where my character names had to be Unique™️. Unusual. As not boringly normal as possible. So, I would flip through our local phone book for inspiration.

Zeldruin is actually a mash up of one person's first name, and another person's last name, which I tweaked the spelling of so it would look like how I wanted to pronounce it. Originally it was a two part name. I never used it as a character, but it eventually got smooshed together and became my internet handle. I have been using this name for so long I would absolutely answer to it in real life.

What are you passionate about on Wajas?
I don't really have anything super specific that I'm focused on, I just love Wajas as a whole. I love how much freedom I have in my play here. It makes me want to be creative and do things I don't have any inclination to do anywhere else if I could just get myself to settle down and Make Decisions and do the stuff, lol.

Staff wise, I really love helping to brainstorm and design things.

What do you collect? (On Wajas, irl, or both!)?
On Wajas I collect Fantasy Frame Foregrounds, as well as anything that might be useful in crafts another of those fantasies, one day I might actually make something! I also like collecting customs, especially sub breeds and older interbreedable designs.

In real life, I collect pens. Any sort of pens, silly ones, elegant ones. Feather quills are my favorite (as well as my cats’). Elephant figurines (always with the trunk up) to continue a collection my grandmother started. Keychains (my favorite is the key to Davy Jones chest), koosh balls, old books (original Nancy Drew's are my best ones, I would love to collect old cookbooks as well), and craft/art supplies that I haven't used properly yet.  :P

The creation of my monster stairs always makes me laugh. Yeeeeears ago, I got one of my first tags, a freebie scribble inspired by M.C.Escher’s Relativity painting. Later, in a chatter thread, someone commented that they loved my fuzzy monster stairs tag. They thought it was a monster with teeth instead of people on stairs! I instantly thought of Harry Potter, the moving staircase and the monster book of monsters, and voila! Monster Stairs! They've changed some of the years, and I learned after a bit it wasn't actually a novel idea, but I still love the character and my head cannon for them.

Where are you from?
You could say I'm a surf and turf girl, lol. I was born in Las Vegas, Nevada. When I was ten we moved to New England, living in Vermont and Maine, where my mother's family is from. As an adult we traveled a lot, settling in Arizona for a good while. Now I live in southern Georgia. I'm mostly of Irish and French Canadian descent, on my mother's side, at least. My father's side is a mystery.

What are your hobbies or passions outside of Wajas?
My biggest hobbies are crafts. Beadwork, quilling, cross stitching (I also want to try embroidery), scrapbooking, and coloring (I'm trying to build the courage to actually start a page from my Kerby Rosanes book). I'd also like to try quilting and sewing, maybe mixed media pieces. I love reading, regular books as well as fanfiction, and I've been gardening a lot. I wouldn't call that one a passion, but trying to get it right sure takes up a lot of time!

Passion wise, I love history and anthropology. I love learning about the minutiae of every day life at all levels. The history of food, phrases, art types, architecture, clothes. Living history museums, or museums in general, are always fascinating. I'm particularly fond of the Victorian age, anything surrounding the Titanic, the general Medieval period, and the ancient Egyptians. My absolute dream would be to own an intact Queen Anne Victorian house with an attic full of stuff left behind to dig through. Or a stone cottage or actual castle, but hey, the Victorian is the most likely of those pipe dreams.  :P

What game(s) are you currently playing?
Sadly, none at the moment. I'm a very casual gamer. The last games I was playing were Farmville 2: Country Escape, Manor Matters, and Merge Gardens on my phone. Before my computer crashed a couple years ago I played a lot of The Sims and Spore. And buried somewhere I still have my PS2 and N64, on which I loved to play Spyro and Mario Bros 3D. I hope they still work.

Going really old school, I love board games. We have two new games we haven't played yet, Titanicopoly and Jumanji (like in the original movie), but Disney’s Villainous is one of our favorites.

What's your favorite place you've traveled to or have visited locally?
We weren't able to do as much sightseeing as we wanted to while traveling, but some of my favorites were a little gift shop in the Grand Canyon that had a stairway and balcony cut into the rock over the side of the cliff, so you had a view from lower in the canyon. We went to see The Phantom of the Opera at the Venetian in Las Vegas (OMG it was so good), and a Titanic exhibition that was really good as well. Of course Disneyland. Wutpatki National Park in AZ is amazing. The Smithsonian Museums in DC were fascinating. And Strawberry Bank in New Hampshire and Billings Farm in Vermont were a lot of fun. I don't have access to all my travel pictures or I'd spam you all.
Locally we haven't been able to do any touristing, but one day I would love to explore Savannah, Atlanta, and St. Augustine, Florida in particular.

What pets do you have/what would your dream pet be?
We have two dogs and three cats currently. The oldest dog is Bella, a ten year old dachshund/beagle mix we adopted from the vet after our Bassett hounds passed. She's gotten grouchy in her old age toward the other animals. Then there's Honeybun, a two year old pit springer that was abandoned on the road. We found her hiding underneath our car.

The oldest cats are Mistoffelees (Misty, named for the original Cats character), and his sister Fury (when she was little she reminded me of Toothless with the way she'd lay on the ground to sleep sometimes). They're three or four years old I think. Youngest is Rain, a two year old teenage hooligan who hasn't figured out cuddling with the other two very well cause he's too busy harassing them. He's the only cat that will snuggle with me though, under specific circumstances.

My dream pet would be either a pure bred Maine Coon cat, or a Maine Coon Munchkin. I miss having fish, too, bettas specifically.

What are some things on your bucket list?
I would love to travel more. I want to see everything. Road trip across the US, visit everything from historic sites to Route 66 to normal tourist traps in the big cities. Go abroad to Europe, visit as many castles as possible, Stonehenge, Pompeii. I'd love to go to Egypt, Australia, Africa. Pretty much everywhere.

I'd also love to get into historical reenacting.

Cold weather or warm weather?
Cold weather! Despite growing up in the desert, my preferred temperature range is 55-70 degrees. The only time I don't mind it hotter is if I'm at a beach or a pool. Otherwise, my brain fries and my body melts.
