Hello Wajaians! It's been a chaotic start to 2023 in my end, but we've finally made it to wrapping up the year end review! 2022 is over, and boy has it been a year! Wajas is incredibly grateful to it's users for their continuous support throughout the last 16 years. PS. this year will be 17 years! Can you believe that?

We did get a lot of stuff done over the last year, so here's a quick recap for those (like me) whose days blur together!

Outside of the above, there's been numerous QOL improvements throughout the site. Code has been a busy derg!

A few Stats for your numerical pleasure!

• We've had 5,533 new accounts made in 2022.
• We had roughly 631 new items added to Wajas in 2022.
  • I say roughly because I had to human math that and if I could have gotten a grade lower than failing in math, I would have, also I tried not to add in dyes/dnas but I might have...our list isn't made for this sort of calculating, lol.
• We've had 382,481 Wajas born in 2022.
• We hit our 10 millionth Waja born in 2022!
  • Speaking of, you should see a gift for that in your notifications soon. Thank you Sparra for providing the Balloons and Zeph for the Voucher!

We've got a lot of big plans for the 2023 year, but here are a few of our more notable ones:

• Updating older features to be more current.
  • If you have any suggestions you'd like to see for any of our older features, this is your only call out to get those suggestions up on the suggestion threads.
  • We are not promising to take every single suggestion, some suggestions just aren't feasible. However, Bluee and I will be taking a night soon and going through all of our features, looking over what could be improved, making notes, and then checking suggestions for things we may not think of before submitting the information to Code and the other staff, so it doesn't hurt to post. Additionally, please be clear about what features you are posting about, it will make our work much easier.
  • Do not send on site or on discord messages to either of us pushing any suggestions. Post them in the suggestions forum only.
• Working on furthering the mobile friendly options for the site.
• Finish up the next gen Custom Demo, and get it rolled out to you all for hard testing.
• Updating the apply dye, dna, brush, and potion workings.
• Brand new item manager.
• Marking clean up.
• Some item cleanup/redraws.
