October Calendar

Good evening Wajaians! I hope your Tuesday is going phenomenally.

This is a quick post to get everyone on the same page regarding what is happening in October. It'll be a busy month and so, as much as possible, I want to let you all know when contests/events are going to be happening. Please note, these may not be the end all be all, we may host minigames, contests, and events outside of what is displayed. These are just what we know will be available.

Also, please bear in mind with the busy month staff will try to remind people about end dates, but we're in the midst of running the events and also prepping for the future holidays as well as dealing with our own IRL stuff, so if you know you're going to want a reminder before something ends, we recommend setting an alarm or writing yourself a note in the event we fall through.

Above is the calendar for October which includes all of the following:

  • There will be a month long Dress Up contest. The themes are listed on the calendar and are highlighted in orange. Information for the Dress Up contest can be found below and on our Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
  • There will be two known minigames which are both announced on the calendar.

Also, a reminder that the awesome community often hosts an event as a whole site (ran on an individual user basis), you can read about that on the Lights on / Lights off Library Page.

• Bane Tokens come out October 1st and leave October 31st.
• Various Dyes and DNAs will come out October 1st and leave October 31st.
• For our holiday events you should only be utilizing 2 accounts per person. Please ensure you've read the Rules for sharing IP addresses. We are very serious about fair play on Wajas.

It's time for us to celebrate all things spooky! Are you ready to have a month of fun? If you had a chance to partake last year, you may remember that we had a month long dress up contest on our Social Media platforms. It was a huge hit, so we're here to do it again! See the calendar image below, and each day there will be marked with a theme. Your goal is to dress a Waja up fitting that theme and your platform of choice's contest post and post with both the dress up image and your ID!

IG Users:
Your entry is different just because IG doesn't allow images in comments. So what you will do is:

• Post the image on your page with the #Wajas2022Spookytober and any other relevant tags you think would fit. Once you’ve posted, there is an Instagram post on Wajas Instagram where you can make a note that you have entered for that day. You must post on that Instagram post once you’ve posted each day for your entries to count.

Rules:

• Each day has a theme. You may only enter each day once per platform and only on the correct day based on Eastern time zone. For reference, EST and Wajas time are the same so if you are not part of the EST time zone, you can check on site for the current time.
• If you enter on multiple platforms, all entries must be unique - meaning you cannot use the same entry on all of the platforms.
• Do your best to portray the theme in your entry. If it’s not clear how they correlate, feel free to include a small blurb explaining it.
• Include your ID in all of your submissions.
• All dress up’s must have been done by your hand, and must include:
  • x5 accessories and a Wallpaper at minimum to count for the contest.
  • You may not use crafts or custom patches in your dress up.
  • You may use the item demo.
• Winners will be determined via a random generator and will be announced on the winner thread on site once they have been drawn. Odds of winning will vary based on the number of entries across all platforms, as they will all be entered into the same drawing.
• The individual platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) are not affiliated with this contest.
• The dress up entry period will last from October 1st through October 31st and will end at 11:59 PM Eastern time.
• You must be a player of www.Wajas.com to win.
• I may use some of your submissions for our daily dress up to show off our users creativity.

Prizes:
Prizes may be increased based on the number of participants.
