Breeding Contest Info:

Grand Tier - 5 Winners
Qualifications:
1 Start with a Rooster in your initial breeding.
2 The markings Feathers Filling and Feathers Lacing above 90%.
Maintain the mutation Rooster Tail as visible.
Breed in one other marking and get it to 80% or above.

Prizes:
1 Gen 1 Rooster of their color choosing.
Barnyard Pasture Wallpaper, All 3 Silkies, and the Eggs.
The Rooster King trophy

Placement Notes:
We will only have 5 winners for this placement.
Winners will be based on how high you manage to get your marks.
Marks will be tallied up, and the top 5 highest from that will be awarded the Grand Tier. (Feather Fill % + Feather Lacing % + New Marking %)
If you somehow managed more than one new marking and it also is above the required percentage, it will most certainly count towards this.
If we wind up with more than 5 winners for whatever reason, we will narrow the winners down.
Narrowing down will be determined by:
- how many breedings did you do?
- did you line breed? (While the breeding script will allow for linebreeding to an extent, if it comes down to breaking a tie, we will most likely choose a player who bred unrelated lineages rather than a player who bred to a great-great-great grandparent or however many greats until the script accepts it. Otherwise, we are not concerned with linebreeding and you will not be docked points for doing so.)
We do not anticipate a tie, but in the event it does, that is how we'll determine things.

A note on questions, before asking any questions, you should be looking at the FAQ Guide. We're getting a lot of questions that are answered there.

For those who are unsure what linebreeding is, it's a form of inbreeding using distant relatives so it does not produce an inbred percentage. I used to manually check this back several generation to ensure it wasn't done purposefully for our contests, and the breeding contest feature now checks back a few generations, but if you do enough breedings it may allow it.

To save myself from having to do a lot of extra work, we're allowing it for the contest and the only placement it impacts is if you're in the running for the Grand Tier and there is a tie.

We will then go through the tied ones, and mark if there's any line breeding, how many breedings there are, etc, and will give the placement to whoever has clearly displayed more work.

Please note, it will be very unlikely that we allow a tie. We're already giving away 5 customs from this contest, and they are limited customs at that.

Bluee did an example of what Linebreeding is accepted by the breeding contest feature HERE. She wants to forewarn people that the wajas have to be more distantly related than they might assume.
