Romulus' Point of View:

Romulus watched as Remus stormed off, his brows furrowing. "Can you believe him?" His head shook as he turned, steps resuming towards the store. In theory, he could skip today...Remus wasn't here to make him go, and he'd have more fun running around, creating mischief without Remus nagging him the whole time.

'He seems a little bit sensitive. I'm sure he'll be fine though~'

With a hmm, Romulus didn't give much response. They reached the store...only to find utter chaos. Every enclosure in the store had been opened. Pet food was scattered everywhere. Pet toys were shredded and cotton floated in the air.

"What in the world happened here?!" Romulus found himself swarmed by pets, chirping, hissing, meowing, barking. The noise was overwhelming. "Of course Remus ditches the day that...this happens." He muttered, setting the Tome down on the shop counter and immediately beginning to round up pet after pet, returning them to their enclosures.

Mordimer V Icarus had never claimed to be a kind or benevolent soul. In fact, if anything, he'd probably say he was more of a chaotic neutral. He enjoyed seeing disarray and people frustrated. It made his life...all the more easier.

'Romulus~' He sang as the elder twin put away the last of the pets. 'I am certain I have a spell within my folds that could assist you.' He gave a hmm, and flipped open on his own. Pages flipped rapidly for half a second before falling to a stop. 'Ahh yes, the spell of rapid cleaning.'

Romulus frowned, eyeing the mess. He really didn't want to deal with it the old fashioned way, and thus far...the tome had been very helpful. So he moved forward, eyeing the spell, and after a moment began to chant the spell.

The fun has come to an end,
It's time for things to return from whence they came,
Creatures of the night come forth,
Lend aid to this child,
If only for a small time,
And then you too, shall be allowed to play.

As he ended the chant, in the center of the room a burst of darkness, and from that came creatures...they clamored and whispered to one another, crawling all over the room, items were picked up and returned back to their original spot - even though they should not know where their original spot was.

One by one, the room began to take on it's normal shape, until it was completely clean.

The darkness evaporated, the creatures eyed Romulus and the book, and with a moment of loud whispers, they turned, and fled out the door.

"Where are they going?" His eyes widened as he watched the creatures vanish down the street in all directions.

'Well, as the spell said, it's time for them to go have some fun. They'll probably go dangle from some trees or something and then return to their home.' Mordimer slammed closed, and eyed the room. 'Much better though, those critters are quite good at what they do, are they not?'

Romulus gave a distracted nod, trying to catch a glimpse of them from his window. Maybe he was overthinking this, but maybe...just maybe...releasing them wasn't such a good thing.

'How about a tour of the shop?' Mordimer broke through his thoughts, and distracted him, Romulus moved forth, carrying him once more and took him to see every nook and cranny of the store.
