RIP Pear Game

As of today, the wretched pear game is no more!

So, after much deliberation, we've made some changes to the Pear game and thus also our rules, they are the following:

1. Change to the game: You can now freeze your pear streak for 14 days.
2. Change to the game: You can RESTORE a streak that has been lost within the last 30 days.
3. New site rule: With this addition, we will be adding a rule regarding cave sitting. We will give until the 28th - since we allowed up to 2 weeks of cave sitting - and then from there out, the practice of cave sitting will not be allowed anymore.

All restores after that are 5 CWP and return 80% of your streak.

FAQ:

"If we tested this feature during the closed testing, will our free restore be returned?"
Yes. Since we asked you to purposefully lose the restore and use the free restore function, we will reset the free restore.

"What if I am currently cave sitting for someone?"
That's perfectly fine. We are giving a two week grace period during which time you may finish your task for cave sitting, but upon the users return, let them know it is no longer an accepted practice. We will also be doing another news post remind people that cave sitting is not allowed in two weeks.

"Why does it cost xyz?"
We are adding in this feature to eliminate SOME stress this game causes. We understand life happens, sometimes you get side tracked and forget, but at the same time, we cannot make this game too easy. We're offering some forgiving options, but they come with a price, and it's one we deliberated on for a long while and eventually felt like this was the most fair option. It's up to you the user to determine if you're fine losing the streak you had or paying the price asked.

"Why can't we utilize cave sitting anymore?"
Ultimately, this is a big security risk. It's possible that someone you trust may not be actually trust worthy, and sharing your information with them may lead to the loss of your stuff. Our TOS actually states not to share your passwords and information with other users. It is at the end of the day, a way to protect you - the user.

"Does the freezing stack?"
Yes. You still have to pay to stack it, but yes, it does stack.

"Can you end the freeze early?"
